My Joyful Experience with Partas Bus: A Scenic Journey Across Northern Philippines
In 2017, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of a commercial short film for Partas Bus, where I took on the roles of drone cinematographer and an extra cast member. This experience was a highlight of my career, as it allowed me to travel across the northern Philippines, visiting iconic destinations such as Baguio, La Union, and Pagudpud—all for free!
As a drone cinematographer, I captured breathtaking aerial views that showcased the stunning landscapes and natural beauty of these regions. From the cool mountain air and panoramic views in Baguio to the surfing haven of La Union’s beaches, and the serene coastal scenery of Pagudpud, the journey was a feast for the eyes. These aerial shots were not just about the scenery but also about conveying the sense of adventure and exploration that comes with traveling via Partas Bus.
Being part of the cast added another layer to this enriching experience. It was both exciting and challenging to step in front of the camera, especially alongside well-known artists and the president of Partas. This dual role allowed me to engage deeply with the creative process, contributing to the narrative both behind and in front of the camera. The camaraderie on set and the shared passion for the project made the experience incredibly fulfilling.
The commercial itself aimed to capture the essence of travel and connection that Partas Bus facilitates. It was a celebration of the diverse and beautiful landscapes of Northern Luzon and the reliable service that Partas provides to its passengers.
